Last week its board approved a strategic pivot to a fully omnichannel operating model, and as the firm's Chief Architect you have logged the resulting change request in Phase H. Your assessment is stark: the pivot invalidates core assumptions across the Business, Data, Application, and Technology domains, and the value the original architecture was built to deliver no longer matches where the company is heading. The store-operations director, anxious to avoid disruption, is lobbying to absorb the shift as a routine in-place update so her teams are not destabilised.
